MS11 Liberay to MS14.2?

Hi all, I worked for a while with MS11 and have created some "personal" devices in the user data base I worked with regular. Now I want to upgrade the system to MS14.2 and have downloaded the Version, installed it and run it (for now) in evaluation mode. I want to import my "personal" devices into MS14.2.

I have done the export out of MS11 into a packed .prz file = No Problem 🙂

I have tried then to import the .prz file into MS14.2 = Not possible 😞 Info: "Use the same Version you have packed the file with" ?? Realy?? I have then also tried to import the data in .csv and .txt format. Without success.

Is there a trick? Have someone already experience with that problem. Is there a possibility to export MS11 user data base into .oecl (Open EDA) format?

Hi all,

I have found a way to bring my self-created components from MS11 to MS14. You have to open an old MS11 project, were are your self-created components in, with MS14. Then you can copy bit by bit all your components into the user data base of MS14. It is a little bit complicated and time consuming but it seems to work.

Would still be interesting if there is another, simple, way to import the data bases from MS11 to MS14.

I´m looking forward to hints and advice from you.
