Hello all,
I hope someone can help me. I am doing my lab homework in "Laboratory Manual (Multisim Emphasis) to Accompany Electronic Devices and Circuit Theory" by Boylestad.
The lab asks me to measure the resonant frequency and Q of a voltage-controlled resonant circuit containing a varactor diode as a function of the bias voltage.
Well, the lab would be ok if I could find the MV2109 varactor. I have searched everywhere and have tried everything I know but am having no luck. Please tell me where to find or otherwise construct such a component if it indeed it does exist?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sanki,
If you need a SPICE model just Google it, below is a model I found online.
Also, the link is a tutorial for creating a component I Multisim.
.model MV2109 D(Is=1.365p Rs=1 Ikf=0 N=1 Xti=3 Eg=1.11 Cjo=82.03p M=.4933 + Vj=.75 Fc=.5 Isr=13.06p Nr=2 Bv=30 Ibv=10u) * Motorola pid=MV2101 case=182-03 * 88-09-22 bam creation *$http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3173
