Multisim Place/Components

Since long time I'm using Multisim 10.1 in circuits simulation, but now I have

truble in placing components in the schematic : the command Place/Components

appears disabled (the characters are shadowed) and I don't understand why.

Is there some action to be made to restore the function?

(I have already reloaded the Multisim disk, but nothing changes!)
