Hi there,

LabVIEW 2011 is not compatible with Multisim 13 for Co-simulation. The Multisim 13 installer only installs the Co-simulation files with LabVIEW 2012 or 2013 is detected.

Some ideas to make this work:

  • Install (if available) LabVIEW 2012 or 2013, then reinstall Multisim 13 to add the Co-simulation files.
  • If you have a license for Multisim 13 you can also install and activate Multisim 12, wich is compatible with LabVIEW 2011.
  • We could recompile the appropriate files so you can use Multisim 13 with LabVIEW 2011. You will need to install these files manually. Have in mind that this will be an unsupported installation.

Please let us know how you'd like to proceed.

Hi Fernando,

I am facing the same problem and I would appreciate your help. How can I recompile these files (I am assuming you are talking about the .dll and the header files). I don't know which files correspond to the Multisim external design block. I have multisim 2013 and labview 2013 as well.

Much Appreciation
