Multisim

I have been a long time user of Electronic Workbench (5.1) and have developed many circuit simulation files in teaching electrical engineering courses.. I can't use EWB any longer since it doesn't run on 64 bit machines. I have installed Multisim 12.0 but it doesn't recognize my EWB files. Any solution to this short of recreating these circuits in Multisim?

Hi there,

Multisim 12.0 does not recognise EWB 5 files as a supported file type and as such you will not be able to load EWB 5 files directly into Multisim 12.0.

In order to view EWB 5 files in Multisim 12.0, you will first need to open them in an earlier version of Multisim. For example, open the EWB 5 file in Multisim 11.0 and save the .ewb file as a .ms11 file. You will then be able to open the .ms11 file inside Multisim 12.0 and save it as a .ms12 file.

Hope this helps!
