Hi, I am a ITSLIGO Student (ID s00134343). My computer crashed and i am trying to re - install Multisim 12. I keep getting the message serial number not found (Serial Number XXXXXXXXX).
Please help.

Hello,
Is this happening when you are installing Multisim or afterwards? When installing it, just click to install for evaluation. Once you run Multisim the first time, a dialog should pop up to ask you if you want to activate. Input your serial number then.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I had already installed the software as an evaluation copy, and i am now trying to activate (The evaluation period is not over though).

Hello,
This seems to be some kind of academic product NI license. This is not a valid key for the installation of Multisim. You have to contact whoever sold you the product about this issue.

Hi Miguel,
I managed to figure out the problem. I was supposed to drag the licence file to theNI licence manager window. I have just done that and must activation went smoothly.
