Hi

Please Open a Service Request Case Using the NI Service Request Manager (SRM) - National Instruments.

NI Technical support engineers will help you regarding the activation.

P.S.

Please don't post the Serial Numbers in the forums ( or somewhere else)

Well thanks for the reply bhovhann.  I had already attempted to submit a Service Request but was unable to do so because NI recognised that I'm in Australia and advised me to contact the Australian distributor.  Which I have done!

As far as the Serial Number goes, I don't see an issue.  I purchased the software on CD-ROM and have been using it for years until my computer died and I'm trying to install Multisim on a back-up computer.  I have the software, the Serial Number and the Signature and I still can't install it!  Consequently, I'm not too worried about someone else having the serial number and I'm not too worried about your concern that I posted the serial number on the forum.

This issue would have been solved days ago if one of the brilliant NI support personal had read my original posting and simply emailed me the release code.

I have just received the following email from NI_Community_Support.  Seems that when I posted my Multisim Serial number it was a "no, no"  That in fact my NI Multisim Serial Number is "Confidential"!

If that be the case, then NI should be marking the software as "Confidential" and the forum postings regarding a similar situation (and including serial numbers) by forum members Gordo51 and Mariomouse should be addressed.

To me, it is more logical that Customer Service/Support team would be more interested in correcting the registration/activation problem for myself, Gordo51 and Mariomouse so that we may use the software, than worrying about a posted Serial Number.  In my case, the Serial Number was registered years ago and I'm trying to reactivate it.  I don't see how my posting the serial number poses a threat.

Just send me a "release code" and I'll shut up!
