Newbie question - this is driving me mad, but I'm obviously missing something simple.
Multisim v10.
So I create, say, a transient analysis, and in Grapher I carefully add a couple of voltages and some expressions e.g. derivatives, then separate the output variables between left and right axes, then set the scaling for the both those axes, and finally I get some lines I can read.
Then I change a component value in the circuit and re-simulate, and I have to re-do all the grapher settings.
I have gone round and round in circles in the help files and the forum but I don't seem to find any way to just show the same output graph for the new simulation. Maybe I should use 'add traces from latest simulation' but I can't work out how that helps, to be honest. I don't much care about retaining the graph from the first simulation, if that helps (I could always save it if I really wanted to, anyway).
People must do this all the time, so I suppose I am being stupid - but anyway, I can't work it out. Any clues?

Hello,
Well the simulation settings before the grapher should remain untouched, but regarding the graph properties, under the Graph dropdown menu, you can find an option called Copy graph properties (or something similar), then when you close and run your analysis again (or a different one), you should be able to Paste these properties from the same drop down menu.
Kind Regards,

Well, at least you stopped me messing around with 'add traces', trying to copy values into the trace properties pages, and other irrelevant things, so thanks for that.
After another couple of hours, I finally twigged it - it is easy, but the sequence is not obvious. For other simple folk:
1. Run simulation 1, set the trace and graph properties how you want
2. Change a component value, run simulation 2
3. Select the first graph, then CLICK IN THE GRAPH AREA
4. Now 'copy graph properties' is available - it isn't available if you don't click in the graph area first. Click it.
5. Select the second graph, then CLICK IN THE GRAPH AREA
6. Now 'paste graph properties' is available - it isn't available if you don't click in the graph area first. Click it.
Failing to click in the graph area in either step 3 or 5, and then just selecting copy or paste, copies or pastes the entire graph, including the actual values, which we don't want (in this case).
This stuff is kind of obliquely implied in the help - or at least, once you know how to do it, the help makes sense. I don't know why they don't just tell you how to do it though.
