Hi, my name is Nikola and I am a student at the University of Toronto.

 

I am trying to install the student edition of Multisim that came with my textbook "Microelectronic Circuits, Sedra/Smith" on a CD. Unfortunately the setup.exe file from the link on the CD reports that a fatal error occurs due to there being no setup.ini file. Why is this happening and where can I obtain this file? I am running Windows 7 64bit.

Hi Nikola,

 

Do you know what version is on the disk?

Hi Tien,

 

I'm happy to report that I have managed to install the programme and register it. Turns out that it wasn't running the installer from the disk but downloading it from ni.com. Bit of a schoolboy error there.

 

I look forward to exploring and using NI Multisim version 11.
