Simple PCB

I have made a simple PCB (just holes and traces).  The holes do not show up on the 3D Preview, but if I get the board manufactured will it show up?

Also, export function is not available in the evaluation version, is there anyone to get this PCB in a format for manufacturers?

Hello!

Yes holes would appear in a specific file for the manufacturer to drill. Most manufacturers prefer and deal with Gerber file exports and Ultiboard exports both the earlier and newer version of these gerber exports (274D and X). However, under the evaluation, there is no way for you to export these files for manufacturing.

k1957,

Here is the output from your project file in gerber format and the drill files.   Just open the files and you can see each layer that was exported (all copper and board outline - I didn't see any silkscreen, etc...).   The drill file is simply a text file that indicate the hole location, size and whether the hole is plated.

One trick to get the hole to show up (in 3D and gerber view) is to add a simple silkscreen circle around the hole (or you can put it in the mechanical layer if you like).  You can then select both and group (Edit->Group) and then copy and paste multiple holes as needed - as long as they are the same size.

I believe getting the holes to show up in 3D mode is on the requested feature list.
