Simulate the output of a DAC

I am have been able to simulate a midi to analogue synthesiser. However the actual signal that will control it will be from a DAC. I am currently just using an AC signal, but is it possible to simulate a DAC? If so, how ?

There are DAC components available inside of Multisim.

You mention that you are using an AC signal as your output. Under ideal conditions that would be the output of a DAC of course. The following is a tutorial on how to create one also: http://www.ni.com/tutorial/52916/en/

I do not believe there is a specific simulation for a DAC it would be a case of creating your own.
