Anybody have any idea why msim will finish closing/opening pushbutton switch contacts before it continues with any other circuit actions? In the real world many things happen intentionally during the time pushbutton contacts are closed...
Also, is there any way to control that 1000:1 (or whatever it is..) slowdown factor during a simulation? Combined with the odd switch contact behavior, it's extremely difficult to simulate circuits dependent on closures, openings, pulses, differentiation, integration, etc
Is it built-in or can it be configured?

I am not sure why Multisim waits, but under the hood, the sim engine is probably 'pausing' the simulation before the action is completed (the SPICE circuit/netlist has to be changed during this pause condition). A better way is to use a time delay switch if you are trying to get precise delays/timing for looking at a stimulus/response type action.
Currently, there is no 'slowdown' feature in Multisim, except for if you decrease the TMAX setting in the simulation settings. This will have the same effect - more sample points will be calculated during simulation, thus slowing down the simulation (and also improving accuracy).
