I have been all over Ultibaord and I cannot find a way of importing another users database. I know Multisim has this capability. If there is a way to do this I haven't found it.
As far as the Component Creating Tutorial there are 2 options. On NI website there are user manuals for Ultiboard at this address:https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/374488c/resource/374488c.pdf Also, there should be a help file within Ultiboard that outlines pretty much step by step on how to creat custom parts and fototprints. There are other manuals available on the NI Website. Goto their home page at http://www.ni.com and on the front page you will see product manuals listed under the support column. Just keep clicking through until you find the manuals you need.
Have a Nice Day.

Thanks Kittmaster. I forgot Utiboard had that capability that is why I didn't mention it in my post. See everyone learns or gets their memory refreshed from the forum.
Have a Nice Day.

Peter,
I checked TI's datasheet and the footprint in Ultiboard is reflecting the SMD option as you mention. Based on the OPA547T package option in TI's datasheet it needs a THT footprint with 7 pins organized in a zigzag way.
I'm attaching a UB project file, inside you will find the new component I just created from scratch using the dimensions on the TI's datasheet packaging section, I also added the 3D info. Open the file, select the component and go to Tools >> Database >> Add selection to database so it will be added to your User database. I really encourage you to review the dimensions and spacing between pins since I did this footprint quickly and using the TI's datasheet info. I will file a report for R&D so they can have the footprint engineer check the IPC book and possibly review the footprint in Ultiboard.
I also encourage you to check the following link, it has information on how to create custom footprints in UB, and also how to add them in Multisim.

I hope this helps...
