Time delay circuit, help needed

Lacy thank you for ur time, I found with a help from someone a way to get the circuit to work. It just add a 555 astable to the one we have. Just connect the output of the delay timer to the reset of the main 555 timer. Make it high when you want the LEDs on and low the time u want the delay and it works.

Your entirely welcome. I hadn't thought of the second timer being in astable mode. I am going to try this myself and see what happens. Thanks for posting your findings. It is always nice when people solve their problem and then share their results with the rest of the community.
