Ultiboard crashed many times

First:

I am using ultiboard 10.1. I don't know if my PC(Windows XP) is compatible with Ultiboard, it crashes many times when I try to move a part.

 Second:

After restarting my proram for many times, the software creates many recovery layers (16th for the most recent event). I tried to delete the recovery layers( after deleted  the items on that layer) through "Option->Sheet properties->Copperlayer-> layer pairs. As soon as I click on the "layer pair", the program crashed again and again and again.

Question:

Can someone tell me the proper way to delete a layer? if it is not a bug of the software. Thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

I have no clue as to what is occurring here, but I thought I would let you know that I use Ultiboard 10.1 with Windows XP Home and I have not witnessed this type of behaviour.

The only thing I can think of is to try to do a re-install of the software, but maybe NI has a better option. If they do try it before doing a re-install.

the software is heavily dependant on the openGL model, make sure you have the latest video drivers for your video card and also the latest chipset drivers.  If you can load the program to a blank sheet, the there is nothing wrong with the software.  Mostly likely your motherboard is having problem with the real time rendering of the devices.
