Virtual Diode

Is there a way to change the cutoff voltage of a virtual diode model in multisim v9?

Thanks,
Alan

Which Version of Multisim do you have? This iformation Is necessary in order for us to give you a proper answer.

Thanks, unfortunely, I have Version 10.0.1 so I don't think I can answer your question because of the differences and I don't have Version 9 to reference to.

Sorry, but Nestor, if he's here, will have to tackle this one.

A diode doesn't have a defined "cut-off" parameter. It doesn't toggle ON/OFF states ideally like a switch

The forward bias equation is your Typical schtoky diode equation:

Id=Is*( e^(Vd/(n*vt)) -1)

Parameters in your control are Is (saturation current) and n(emission coefficient)

The cut-off voltage will typically be somewhere around 0.6-0.8V
