Waht are the functions of the inputs to the virtual buck converter in MultiSim9?

I can not find the description of the functions and/or requirements for the buck or boost converters.   A simple circuit example would be nice.

Thanks for that wonderful information about this, I really didn't know this either so it helped me also. I was wondering where this documention that your are referencing can be found. This type of documentation is very useful and could help users tremendously when they have a problem or don't understand a particular part or subject. If it is on the website or FTP site could you post a link to it for us.

The information came from an old reference manual and unfortunately I don't have a pdf file of this manual.

Thanks Tien, that is unfortunate. I am not trying to tell you what to do or anything, but I would get that scanned or something a put it on the main site or the FTP site because it seems like it has more detailed info than the manuals we currently have. Maybe you could also look into incorporating some of that information into future documentation files. I know all the information from an older reference manual may not be relevant to this or any future releases, but apparently some parts could be of great help and interest to us especially if it gives examples of proper component hook up.
