What is Va in multisim?

Hi steelrod01,

That is just a DC Voltage Source using a BAR terminal/connector symbol. Va is the Name/ID you intend to assign to this component, you can accomplish this by simply replacing the default Name/ID that appears after placing the component.

For example in the DC Voltage Sources below

you can change the Name/ID by clicking on VCC, VDD, or VEE and editing the text in the dialog box or Configuration Panel. In a similar way, the DC Voltage value of 5.0 V can be changed to 9.0 V, 3.3 V, -5.0 V, etc.
