We did fixed something for the routing layer in Ultiboard and thought this issue have been addressed, but yesterday, I was playing around with this and was able to replicate the problem. The problem is coming from the Multisim side and I was able to get this to work by going through following steps:
1. On the Spreadsheet click on the Nets tab (not all versions have the Nets tab).
2. Right click on the spreadsheet and then Select ALL
3. Under the Routing Layer column, change the setting to Top for all nets
4. Again under Routing Layer change the setting back to show nothing
5. Export the netlist to UB
This bug is random, sometime it works and sometime it doesn’t. I created a defect for this issue.

Hi Tien,
This would not have been much of an issue if the LOCK PCB Settings in the Spreadsheet was still in Multisim 10.1. In Version 10.0.1 if this setting was set to yes it forced Ultiboard to use all Layers on transfer. Could you maybe give us an explaination as to why this was removed in 10.1?
