binary counter

hello!

i don't understand why the count in this 4-bit binary counter jumps 7 (0111) ,in fact i think it cannot display 3 digits at the same time.i checked everything but it seems fine. what did i do wrong or didn't do?

Hello ngogketrao,

the counter is working fine.

But what voltage across R1 do you expect, if more than 1 LED is on ?

I am working with :
UltiCap 2001 & UltiBoard 5.72 (for my daily work on XPpro-SP3, german)
Multisim Power Pro 10 (small & simple simulations)
Ultiboard Full 10 (no)
start looking for professional alternatives...

Sorry about my english!

hi

can you tell me what's wrong with my circuit? it is supposed to be a 8-bit PISO sift register.but the problem is that the diode doesn't display nothing.i have tried many different values for the resistors but none will do.

  thank you

I took your circuit and simply tied the inhibit input low and it works perfectly. I have v10.0.1 of Multisim. Forgive me if you know this, but you must clock the circuit while the shift/load input is low and the S/R changes state on a low to high transition of the clock. Good luck!
