circuit current

hi there...when i place the capctitor in a circuit it has no effect of the current displayed on the multimeter, can anyone help?

Please post your circuit. There are many ways to connect a capacitor and a multimeter and a lot of them will not change the readings. We cannot guess which circuit configuration you are using.
