Hi Anu13,

A green color component means that it is a layout only component. What that means is that there is no simulation model for that component but the footprint is available to allow you to design your PCB. Unfortunately, you will not be able to simulate this component.

Anu13,

You may be able to use the "VDAC16" which has a 16 bit parallel interface.   Although it won't function exactly like the DAC8541, it might give you the approximate behavior.  Also if you are familiar with SPICE or would like a challenge, you can try to reuse and modify the VDAC16 model (create a custom part with the Component Wizard and copy the VDAC16 model into the part and then edit to support any additional functionality).
