constant voltage constant current

Hello,

i tried to simulate a adjustable current and ajustable voltage power supply in the lm317 datasheet the specifications are vout=1.2v to 30v  iout =0A to 5A the problem is that when i turn the voltage pot to go 1.2v  the vout is 9.804v is the minimum output voltage it simulates. can someone have a clue and can help  with this

Hi kind2011,

I suppose you get the diagram from the LM317 datasheet (Page 21).

http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm117.pdf

I think we have a wrong connection in the ADJ LM317 pin, I recommend you to check the connections in this part of the circuit. Maybe you must to change the positive and negative voltage to LM301A supply source, because you need a little bit more voltage that you want to get in the output, those supply voltages could be -5V and 31V...

Hope this information helps...
