control AC voltage

Hello

I have a problem. I built a circuit, that its input is a voice recorded by a microphone. unfortunately, the microphone in Multisim doesn't work for some reason (The buttons are all greyed out, and thats before I ran the simulation). Therefore, I need some power source with which I can create an AC voltage that I can create, a voltage that looks like one that was created from a voice.

Thank you

You can do a few different things here to get what you need. 1.) Set up the bode plotter to sweep the frequency range you desire and view the output. It will be displayed as a frequency bandwidth response plot. 2). set up an AC Analysis from the Simulation menu. This should give you a graph of the circuit response to the different frequencies.

What I usually do and is very simple is to use a AC Voltage up to 3Khz. This is based upon my experience with phone line communications systems and their voice bandwith. This usually works pretty well for that type of application, but if your designing an audio amplifier then the frequency range would be much greater approx. 20hz up to 20Khz. It still may work with the  input signaI I described if your just concerned with just normal voice communications, but if you into amplifying music or a singing voice then the 20Hz to 20Khz apply

I may not have helped much, but this is all I can think of right now.
