dragging junctions in Multisim

MultiSim V11.0.2

If I select an area with components, traces and junctions and try to drag it to move the entire collection the image drags on the screen but when I try to place the parts nothing happens - they revert to the original position.

If I do this with just components and traces it works correctly - the parts are moved.

What is the secret to dragging parts of the circuit that contain junctions?

Hi,

When you move a section of the circuit and it revert back to the original location it means that one of the junction new location is overlapping with an existing wire. This makes the junction seems like it is connected to the wire and this is why Multisim prevents this. If you look Result tab on the spreadsheet view, you may see this message " Place a wire over a junction is not allowed".

Try using the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the section in smaller increment
