error due to powerline removal?

Hello,

I am almost ready with my project.

One last simulation problem occurs with my model, probably because I did something wrong in the editor.

I need my curcuit diagrams to show the U1A of LM324 with powerlines, U1B, U1C etc, must be shown without the powerlines.

To realise that I removed the  Vcc and GROUND lines in the symbol editor.

In the pin layout vs- and vs+ are connected to section COM.

I suspect that there is the origin of the error.

Can anyone see what I did wrong?

kind regards

Martin

Hi Martin,

The attached document that shows  the screen shots of all the steps to create a component with different symbol.  The trick is to add hidden power pins and you do this at step 4 in the component wizard, which under Tools>>Component Wizard.  Since the SPICE model have 5 pins and the symbol for section B to D only have 3 pins, you will get a simulation error.  With the hidden power pins, you now have a way to connect the power nodes to the 3 pins symbol virtually.  This is the same method we use when creating digital part

I've attached my V10 Use database, if you want you can merge it with your database.  Instuctions is here:

That is great. Very well explained.

Thanks for all the help.

I merged the databases. The LM324's you provided work like a charm, except for the fact that they can generate a negative voltage,  in the simulation.

But that is no problem for me.

Kind regards and thanks again!
