Hello, i Would Like to know how to solve a Problem with Multisim.

I have a schematic And Put NE555 in the schematic, but when i run ERC errors, i receive a message "connection power to bidirectional VDD Pin to J15 Pin1.

Anyone, can Help ?

Thanks

At timer NE555 should not be bidirectional pins. Check up the table of pins (Properties>> Edit component in DB>> Pin parametres). Compare with existing in program LM555.

I saw that Pins are different, so can I use LM555 Instead of NE555? With TCA785, the same problem, bidirecional Pins with vDD.

In ultiboard there wil be problems, with this errors?  I dont need to simulate, only to draw PCB.

LM555 and NE555 the-same timer, but different firms-manufacturers. Errors which at you have appeared, will not render influence on work in Ultiboard. But not to do errors in Multisim in the future, it is necessary to correct tables of pins.

You use what database?

I did the schematic In Multisim10.0, and after upgrade to 10.1, i phink that is not the problem, is it?

The IC that i used is from database on NI. Si what i shoul do, its to change the name os Pins, Right ?

Put them like LM555, VCC, GND, ETC...

Probably, after update to 10.1 there was a replacement of a table of pins. You should replace component, taking them from new Master databases. Or, having clicked the right button of the mouse on a component to choose Properties>> Edit component in DB>> Pin parametres. In this table to select correct type of pins.

Hello, i did as you told me, and replace the NE555 for LM555.

The problem it was that my colegue create a Component called NE555 with Pin out bidirectiona, and when i draw the schematic find NE555.

Thanks for your help
