how do I add MAX 666 into NI Multisim software?

can anyone teach me to add MAX 666 into NI Multisim software ?? I can't find a MAX 666 voltage regulator in the library, so i think the only way is by adding the component..so can anyone teach me ? for your info,i am using Multisim 10.1.

Hello,

You can create customer components using the Component Wizard in Multisim, if you need the component for simulation then a SPICE model is required (models are created by the manufacturer of the component). I did a quick search an unfortunately I couldn't find a model for the MAX666.

If you need the component just for schematic capture you can simply use the Component Wizard and create a layout only component.

Thz for the turorial, and it help a lot..but, i can't find max666 spice model. I also can't find any component similar to that max666. . So, can anyone please guide me how to do or is there any better way I can find the max666 like modifying the other model in to max666.
