how to connect from adc to dac

Hello everyone!

I need some help from you, I am using multisim simulation 10.0 to convert ADC to DAC.  Do you have any example for about this, i am confusing how to connect it to each other and measure the output voltage. Here is my circuit, can you take a look and give any comment.  Thank you.

Did you know you can attach the actual circuit file? That would work a lot better since I can't really make out that picture well enough to troubleshoot, and nobody wants to build it from the picture themselves. 🙂

Hi Phu_Fu,

When you a place a component on the work area and it's green, it's an indication that the component does not have a model and will not simulate.  Components without models came from the Multicap database which is a schematic capture only package and they were put in Multisim anyway just in case someone doesn’t care about simulation and want to use them.

In Multisim there is a generic ADC and DAC component with model, you can find these components in the same family where you got the DAC8541.  I made a sample circuit with these components and it's attached.

Something to remember:

Black = Model Only

Green = Footprint Only

Blue = Model and Footprint
