hello friends i want to know how to connect a pulse voltage to an igbt. i have no idea how to do so. please if you can help. to which terminal is it connected? and how do i know how much pulse do i give it. im using an igbt in this circuit instead of a thyristor

Dear 12345678901234567890!
First of all, I don't think this is a proper question for NI discussion forums.
These forums are meant for NI technology support and this particular forum is concerned with multisim and not circuit designs.
However, I checked for an answer to your question.
The IGBT is quite similar in its characteristics to a thyristor, even though it uses voltage instead of current for controlling the switch functionality. So just like for a thyristor, you connect the control signal to the gate terminal. As far as the voltage is concerned, the switching voltage should exceed the gate threshold voltage for given temperature.
You can find more information about IGBTs in this IGBT tutorial as well as this guide, which gives you overview of some basic circuitry.
I hope this information helps.
