maxim-ic custom component help

Hello!

I am trying to add this component from maxim-ic using custom component from this script and I feel I set it all up correctly. However, I am getting a 'Timestep too small' error at runtime. If anyone has any insight or similair experience with help to a solution, I would be very appreciative.

-I attached the circuit I built from the datasheet, but FYI the chip by returned the error before I added all this, and I cant be certain the schematic is correct.
