multisim: No 74161

I just bought and installed Multisim. I have to design a circuit for class and I noticed my very first component an IC is not available-- the 74LS161. Why is that? I notice they have the 74160 71162 and 74163. Is there a way to upload it?

Hi Ruteger,

The attached file contains the 74LS161 you should be able to build your circuit around it. Multisim have several tiers, if you have the Student Edition, you will find that it has fewer parts than the Education Edition.
