multisim circuit problem

1.png

Please help. The only way I can avoid the error message is to replace the L1 inductor to other things like resistor or capacitor. But this is a valid circuit as I can get the Bode plot in the LTSpice.

Could anyone help me to find where the error came from? Thanks.

Hello,

What's your Multisim version? You can find this informatin in the Help>>About Multisim menu. I tried your circuit in v12 and v13 and it worked well.

Breaking the voltage source/inductors loop by inserting a small series resistor (e.g 0.1mohm). Inductors appear as shorts in DC analysis (which is used as part of the AC analysis to calculate the operating point), so you end up with a shorted voltage source. This causes a problem for the simulator.

LTspice adds a small resistor to its inductors by default.
