operational amplifier

Guys,

   I want to know what amplifier to choose in the analog library of Multisim circuit design. I'm just trying to simulate the following, it is pretty pretty simple.

Input1:A positive signal:12V

input2:it goes to ground.

vcc=10V

-vcc=-10V

And the output of this signal should be vo=Vcc for Vid>0 or vo=-Vcc for Vid<0, Vid=Vin-0.

But the amplifiers I choose they only give me zero as an answer.

I`m sending the file using amplifier LM239J. But it is not working properly.

The LM239 has an open-collector output.  You need to pull the output up to +10V.  Also, +12V in on a part that has VCC set to +10V may work in the simulator but may break a real part if this circuit is ever assembled.
