single power supply for OpAmp TLC272

Solved!
Go to solution

I have been trying to power up the TLC272 with single power supply as attached design, but measured no output signal.  Is it because the TLC272 simulation design mode not supporting the single power supply?  Please help.

Thanks,

You should remove resistor R25 and place capacitor (for example, 100n) between V1 and R1.

Or in properties V1 to choose Voltage Offset=4,25V (Resistor R1 should be removed in any case)

If you click on a component in the component browser and then select, "Detail Report," you can have a look at all of the available models.

For the TLC272, you should notice that there are 5 available models. In this case, you can have a look at the comments for each model to see which type of supply it is expecting. The TLC271H_2  is designed for a 10V single ended supply, and looks to be your best choice for this design.
