spice models supplied different to www

Hi there,

I imported the spice models for the TIP31 / TIP32 from

http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/supportDoc.do?type=models&part=TIP31A

http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/supportDoc.do?type=models&part=TIP32A

and got different reseults for my schematic then if I would used the NI supplied ones. Then I checked the SPICE models, they are quite different. So what to do now, have 3.7 resp 0.7 V voltage drop in a H-Bridge, its rather significant if the thing runs on 5V...

Cheers,

Dottore.

Hi Dottore,

I use the manufacturing models because the model from manufacturing may be a new version or the model in Multisim could be from other manufactures.

Manufacturing spice models trump any/all NI database models.......since they designed and built it, they are the final word......typically.
