How to change gneration waveform with a HSDIO Board?

I would like to change sqare wave to triangle wave and sine wave. Can I change the waveform with a HSDIO board?

Hi Aggssi,

The output waveform simply depends on the data written to HSDIO device.  The attached jpg file shows one way to generate sine(or square, triangle....) wave pattern.

Take a look at example file at this location: LabVIEW Window >> Help >> Find Examples >> Hardware Input and Output >>Modular Instruments >> NI-HSDIO >> Dynamic Generation >> Non-scripted >> Dynamic Generation of Multiple Waveforms.vi. You may have more ideas about the programming procedure to generate signal.

No. You cannot.

HSDIO only generate square waveform.

You need Function Generator.
