Course Overview:

“NI LabVIEW for Academia” course is designed for educators seeking to sharpen their students’ competitive edge through

a deeper understanding and working knowledge of NI LabVIEW system design software.

The “NI LabVIEW for Academia” course uses a blended learning model that combines engaging content and hands-on lab

exercises. This model prepares for the demands of higher education and industry in engineering, computer science, and

related fields.

The course teaches programming concepts, techniques, features, VIs, and functions which can be used to create test and

measurement, data acquisition, instrument control, datalogging, measurement analysis, and applications.

The backbone of the “NI LabVIEW for Academia” course is made up of the same NI LabVIEW Core 1 and 2 classes

offered to industry.

Type: On Demand (onsite or virtual)

Duration: 45 hours

Prerequisites: To ensure a successful learning experience and a solid foundation in NI LabVIEW programming, participants

are expected to meet the following prerequisites before enrolling in the course:

Programming Proficiency: Participants should be familiar with Windows Operation Systems and have experience

writing algorithms in the form of flowcharts or block diagrams.
