In DAQ Assistant,Advanced Clock Setting, what is meaning of Internal and external clock type?what is differrence between them?

There is a crystal oscillator on board. It can provider sample clock to Analog input, which is called internal clock. At the same time NI DAQ board can use external clock from PFI pins or other sources.
