How can I use ni-imaq function imgSessionSerialWrite to set my carema attribute?

 Who can tell me how to use ni-imaq functions imgSessionSerialWrite and imgSessionSerialRead  to set and get my carema attribute?

My camera is duncantech ms3100 and when I use these functions,it tell me error -1074397163(IMG_ERR_BINT:Bad interface) .
