Recompile NI-RT source code to support third-party circuit boards?

Can we recompile according to the source code of NI-RT, then brush into the third party's ZYNQ core board, and be recognized by NIMAX, and transform it into a sb-rio?

Hi asddef,

If you have the knowledge, time, and resources, you could likely get NI Linux Real-Time to run on third-party hardware. Just make sure you follow the licensing.

It's not possible to have third-party software show up in NI MAX as an NI Device. Doing so would be inadvisable at best. If you want a custom board using a Zynq chip with NI Linux Real-Time that shows up in NI MAX and allows programming from LabVIEW, I would recommend looking into the sbRIO-9651 System on Module.

Thank you for your reply. The more I feel NI is a great company. It is a respectable and admirable attitude that technicians can patiently answer my questions when discussing issues that may infringe on NI's rights and interests. Thank NI staff for answering my technical questions.
