Hi,
I am trying to install the NI-DAQmx drivers for my NI-DAQ PCIe-6353 in a new PC. The card, drivers and package manager was working flawlessly in the previous PC.
The first thing that happens when I start the installation for NI-DAQmx in NIPM (without any additional item installations selected on the previous page, i.e. the only thing that is about to be installed is NI Update Service, NI-DAQmx, NI-DAQmx Runtime, and PXI Platform Services Runtime) is that I get the following error message, and there is no way to get past it:
Does anyone know how to solve this? It renders my NI-DAQ card unusable at the moment, as I cannot install the drivers for it in any other way to my knowledge.
I have additionally tried to install other packages, such as LabVIEW, from the NIPM, but the result is identical. I.e. it seems like I cannot install any packages from NIPM as NIPM cannot install the uninstaller before installing anything else.
I am running a PC with Windows 10 Education, and it happens with any NIPM version I have tried (21.0.0, 20.1.0 etc).
Thanks in advance,
Jonatan

This is one of the first packages that is installed, and the error indicates that there is some problem resolving a directory on the system that is expected to exist, but doesn't?
Turn on MSI debugging per this KB, try the install again, then zip up the logs and post them back here. Those logs should hopefully indicate what directory is the issue.
Best Regards,
