NI Package Manager cannot update because NI Package Manager is not updated

I am having a problem upgrading my software. I have an offline machine and downloaded the latest versions of software for an offline install but when i go to install it; NI Package Manager opens up and says I cannot install because NIPM is outdated. Please go to NI.come/info and look up NIPMUpdate.

I Grabbed the latest version of NI Package Manager, offline installer, tried to install package manager, and it still comes up saying NI Package Manager cannot install because NI Package Manager is not updated.

I tried uninstalling NIPM from my computer from the control panel, I still get the same error. That i cannot install NIPM because NIPM is outdated.

Just to double check what you've done so far - did you get NIPM from here, choose the offline option, then scrolled to the bottom, and download\installed NIPM version 2022 Q3?

Yes,

I did all those steps with the exception, I was running 18.0 and I was upgrading to 19.6

Hi cgsierer, you said "I was running 18.0 and I was upgrading to 19.6". The latest version of NIPM that supports Win 10 64-bit is currently "2022 Q3" or 22.5. Did you try to use the latest, and if not, is there a restriction that prevents you from being able to install the latest?

The main thing was conformity with all our systems.

I did upgrade to 2022 Q3. This gives me new errors that NI Tech haven't been able to solve yet.

Regardless what I do, I have a system that will not work.

cgsierer, so that others on the forum can be aware of what you are currently experiencing, can you summarize what operations are now working and what messaging/errors you are seeing?

Can you also share privately with me who you are working with in support and any support ID associated so that I can reach out to better understand what you are experiencing.

2 weeks ago my PXIe stopped recognizing devices. The equipment was outdated 18.0, so I started updating the software. When I downloaded and tried to install new versions of DAQmx, IVI, 488, the system kept throwing an error that it cannot update software because NIPM is out of date.

I downloaded NIPM for 19.6 and tried to install and I got the error that NIPM cannot install because NIPM is out of date.

I wiped DAQmx, IVI, NI-488, and NIPM from my machine and removed all the files.

I went and tried to then reinstall all these packages and I could not install any package because the error kept popping up:

"*  Cannot install because NIPM is out of date"

even though all the packages and files were removed.

I kept moving up the versions and kept getting this same error until i got to Q3 2022. Q3 2022 packages installed, but MAX is not working properly as none of my devices are populating.

I reached out to NI Tech who are now asking me to create Error Report through NI-MAX which is also failing.

I reset the NI-MAX database and that did not work. Error Report is still failing.

I removed all the software again and reinstalled 2022 and NI-MAX and my software is still not working, not detecting my system devices, and unable to reset the database and unable to create any error reports.

I have the same problem. I opened the NIPM, then it said the NIPM is out of date. So I downloaded the NIPM for 19.6.  When I installed it the same error appeared. And I even can't unstall any package or software(e.g.LabVIEW) in the NIPM now. Can you give me some suggestions?
