I've been looking for a graceful way to shut down test equipment in the event of a power outage. We are using Cyber Power UPS's, and their Power Panel Business allows you to run scripts triggered by events such as low UPS battery, Loss of utility power, etc, so it look like it should suit my needs. I know the SCPI commands I need to send to the devices (Keysight ones, if anyone knows shutdown SCPI commands for R&S gear, please let me know), and I'm able to send these commands using Keysight Command Expert, but the only scripts PowerPanel Business lets you run are Windows cmd. I did some searches and found one solution which includes a call to visa32.exe to run. that file isn't on my laptop, I tried reloading NI VISA, still not there, and if I do a web search for visa32.exe, all I get is responses about visa32.dll. What am I missing here?
