Add an IVI Step Type

I would like to use an iviRFSigGen with teststand (Currently using ver 2.0). Can I add a step type to do this or is there a step type already available to do this.

Hi,

There isn't a TestStand Step Type for iviRFSigGen yet. (dont think iviRFSigGen has been released yet).
But you could create your own step types. See Chapter 9 page 32 'Creating and Modifying Custom Step Types'.

You could base your step type on an existing type such as the Function Generator or generate ones from scratch.

Hi J.M.,

We constantly try to upgrade our products to suite our customer better. I'll place a product suggestion over to R&D to look into creating new IVI steps. In the meantime, my suggestion would be creating custom step types as Ray mentioned.

Unfortunately, it was not tested so well, it seems like starting exsample for you.
