Thank you for the input ... but I'm sorry that I failed to mentioned I'm also getting an exception thrown at me with using either "StationGlobals.OIStuff.foobar" or "OIStuff.foobar"

An unhandled exception of type 'System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException' occurred in OIStuff.exe

Additional information: Unknown variable or property name 'OIStuff'.
Error accessing item 'OIStuff.foobar'.

I'm currently trying to validate my installation ... again, when I launch TestStand I do see my modified Model Sequence file displayed at the bottom and the variables panel does show StationGlobals->OIStuff->foobar with a string value set.

I think I figured out my general problem (wrong model seq file) ... Not including "StationGlobals" in the search string was part of the problem though.
