Changing the format of existing Workspace files to XML

I am able to create new Workspace files in XML format by setting the station configuration accordingly. However, saving an existing binary Workspace file under a new name does not save it in XML format even though a new file is created. 

I am able to change the File Format of sequence files from the Sequence File Properties of the Edit menu or the Sequence File Converter from Tools, Update Sequence Files.  

Is there a way to change the format of an existing Workspace file to XML?

Once you have saved your workspace file, delete the original then rename the new one. Make a suggestion in the NI Teststand Ideas to save the original as .bak file.

You can change the format of existing workspace files and project files using the Station Options Dialog box. On the File tab of the dialog box press the button for the "File Format Options...", the currently open workspace and project files should show up in the list and you can then select each one and change its format.
