Create a TestStand Type from LabVIEW typedef

I know that I can create a TestStand Type from an input to a VI if that input is a LabVIEW typedef. However can I do this without a VI? What I want is to drag and drop a LabVIEW *.ctl file from my hard drive or drag the LabVIEW typedef icon into my TestStand Types window and automatically create TestStand Types.
