Disabling Tracing into ProcessModelPreStep

I have a custom process model that includes ProcessModelPreStep and ProcessModelPostStep callbacks. When I break on a step in a sequence and hit F8, it traces into these callbacks, even though "Allow Tracing into Pre/Post Step Callbacks" is not checked. Shouldn't that stop it from tracing into these callbacks? How can I stop it?

Unfortunately, TestStand does not offer any way to prevent an F8 step into from stepping into a callback like this.

The purpose of the tracing settings are to prevent the engine from sending trace messages to the operator interface or sequence editor while running normally.

The best that I can do is make a suggestion to address this issue in the future. Thanks for letting us know...
