Did you mean:

Error, [-29017]The channel specification string contains invalid characters or could not be understood. [Error Code: -29017, User-defined error code.]

I am not sure if this is the right board for this question, my appologies if its not I am getting this intermittent error when running one of teststand sequences. Could someone shed some light on where I should be looking> I know its not the sequence as it worked prior to upgrading the NI software but not sure what is not working correctly. Many thanks in advance Antony Drkins

Hi,

Can you post a screen shot of the dialog panel that displays the error?

What NI software did you upgrade?

What versions of the software were you running?

The error code is discribed as user-defined error code, what is you code module interface to (hardware, software etc)?

Regards

Ray Farmer

A little bit more information, when the fault does occur it is when the dmm (ni-4070) is taking a voltage reading.
